The complex chemical composition of tourmaline allows for countless variations in color and character, with each hue resulting from different trace elements incorporated during the crystal’s formation. Our mining sites yield particularly fine specimens of green tourmaline (verdelite), pink tourmaline (rubellite), and the highly sought-after watermelon tourmaline, which displays pink centers encircled by green rims—a natural color combination that seems almost too perfect to be the work of nature alone.
